Über Mich

Photos have always shaped my life. Born in Coburg in 1970, I began my career with training in photography and continued working as a photographer in portrait studios for several years. After a stint at an animal magazine in Munich, I moved to Hamburg, where I initially worked as a freelance photographer but later switched to photo editing for print media.

Nevertheless, I have never lost my love for my craft of photography. On the contrary: some time ago, I discovered my passion for nature photography. I am particularly captivated by the wonderful world of flowers. My favourite tool is my macro lens, which I use to capture the fine details that are often invisible to the naked eye, the beauty and uniqueness of our natural world in my photographs. My portfolio also includes some impressions from my travels in Iceland and Norway, my adopted home of Hamburg, and atmospheric moments that capture the tranquillity and vastness of the North German coast.
